We were thrilled to welcome Old Elean, Orlando Squires, back to King’s to deliver an action-packed ‘Unarmed Stage Combat Workshop’.
Since leaving King’s Ely Sixth Form, Orlando has graduated from East 15 Acting School in Essex, where he studied a BA Acting and Stage Combat course. He is now working as both an actor and a fight director in the industry.
During his evening masterclass here at King’s this week, Orlando taught Senior Drama and Theatre students how to effectively perform stage combat safely, and pupils had lots of questions for him about how stage combat is used in films and theatre.
