OLD Elean, Alex Layfield, was the star of February 25th’s online Q&A session for our A Level Drama and Theatre students!
Alex, who left King’s Ely Sixth Form last year, is now studying a foundation course at the prestigious East 15 Acting School in Essex.
Nick Huntington, Director of Drama and Theatre at King’s Ely Senior, said: “Alex kindly volunteered to lead an informative session about the realities of applying to drama school, including tips for producing the audition tape and great advice about the choice of material.
“Alex is now at East 15 on the foundation course, and whilst many pupils are keen to get straight to drama school, Alex gave reassuring advice that a foundation acting course is a great initial pathway, and certainly a valuable year of training and education.
