KING’S Ely Acremont’s new School Councillors have been busy brainstorming about what their main school charity event this term should be.
After much debate, they have democratically decided to hold a cake sale, hosted by each year group, on Friday afternoons in the second half of the term, with all funds raised going to King’s Ely’s charities this year, Cancer Research UK and the Tsavo Conservation Group.
The School Council has also enjoyed unveiling the new ‘Golden Friendship Rules’ posters, which have been placed around King’s Ely Acremont and Nursery. The posters have been worked on by the Michaelmas and Lent Term School Council members and as you can see, are a fabulous example of cooperation and teamwork.
