KING’S Ely’s new Ely Scheme Pupil Instructors have been selected for the next academic year.

The candidates participated in twelve tasks over three days as part of the rigorous selection process, focusing on team work, leadership, communication, creativeness, problem solving and coaching abilities. Well done to all of the candidates for completing the selection.

The new Pupil Instructors are: Tom Biggs, Ben Biggs, Emily Pluck, Emma Garrett, Molly Whymark, Alex Scarborough, Harry Curedale-Rayner, Harry Oliver Towers, Jamie Layfield, Louis Gredley, Oliver Johnson, Alfie Peckham, Charlie Boyle and Eleanor Wallace.

From the high peaks of the Andes and Himalayas to the gushing torrents of the rivers in the Alps, the Ely Scheme offers boundless opportunities for pupils to explore and learn through outdoor education. A comprehensive and progressive programme of outdoor activities running throughout Year 9 is the lead-in to greater adventures on the rock face, rivers and mountains.
