A GROUP of our Year 13 students took a trip down memory lane on June 28th by returning to where their King’s Ely journey began – at King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep!

The special visit was organised by Faye Fenton-Stone, Head of Acremont Pre-Prep, and Beth Carberry, our Head Girl, who has been at King’s since joining King’s Ely Nursery.

Year 13 students who have been with us since Acremont Pre-Prep are Beth, Kieran Healy-McAdam, Eleanor Wallace, Izzy Lewis, Molly Whymark, Tessa Hawes, Rhianne Williams, Sukith Sarathchandra, Billy Pinto and Freddie Bowles. Sadly Sukith, Rhianne and Molly couldn’t make the event due to other school commitments.

Highlights of the visit included exploring the garden and new wildlife area, climbing the apple tree that they used to play under when they were little, meeting and reading stories to current Acremont Pre-Prep pupils, and answering lots of questions the children had, which included what they enjoyed most about being at Acremont all those years ago, and what they will be doing next after leaving Sixth Form!
