IZZY’S mummy, Emma, who is Practice Manager at Isle Vet Group – Small Animal in Ely, popped into King’s Ely Acremont on October 1st with her beautiful and patient dog, Marley!
Emma talked to Reception pupils about her job as a veterinary nurse, including some of the different animals she treats. The children were given the opportunity to listen to Marley’s heart beat with a stethoscope and they dressed up for the occasion with surgery masks and hats.
Children who wanted to (which was the majority!) were able to give Marley a fuss, plus the pampered pooch impressed them in return with some tricks he has been taught.
