KING’S Ely Sixth Form student, Callum Hall, did a sterling job of helping the Lambs RFC win 42-22 against the Irish Exiles.

Callum, who has been at King’s Ely since joining King’s Ely Junior in Year 7, first played for the Lambs in 2015 when he was chosen for their Under 13 squad.

Callum, our 1st XV captain and 1st XV Player of the Season, was selected for the Lambs again on January 19th.

Speaking about the game, he said: “It was an amazing experience and the Lambs certainly played well. The coaching at King’s Ely has massively helped with my skills development, game management and most importantly, my understanding of what it means to be a leader.”

When asked what he enjoys most about rugby, Callum said: “The competition and camaraderie between our team and the opposition!”

Founded in 2006, the Lambs exists to create openings for boys to showcase their rugby skills at a representative level.

Callum also plays for Cambridge Rugby Club Colts and represents the Eastern Counties at Under 18 level!
