THE fantastic Onatti Productions visited King’s Ely Senior yesterday (February 1st) as part of our action-packed ‘International Week’ programme.
The company, which delivers inspiring plays in foreign languages to schools across the UK and has been a popular visitor to King’s for some years now, staged ‘En El Campamento’ to our Year 9 and 10 students who are studying Spanish.
On January 19th, our Year 11 French-studying students enjoyed Onatti’s play, ‘Mon Père Ne Me Comprend Pas’, and next week Year 9 and 10 pupils who are studying German will watch the company’s production, ‘Horoskop’.
From assemblies to house competitions to cookery workshops, we have a whole host of events planned for students in Years 9-13 for International Week – all to commemorate the rich cultural diversity that our students of more than 40 different nationalities bring to our school community!
