FUNDS for the Uganda Marathon Appeal were given a boost on the last day of term by the King’s Ely University Challenge.

Teams of teachers had everything from their emoji knowledge to their ability to rave dance tested in front of a very enthusiastic audience of students and staff.

The event was organised by Sixth Form students Tom Keeling, Emma Fowler and J-P Gilbey. Team Durham, made up of Mr McGrath, Mr Newman and Miss Neudorf, were the winners, and more than £260 was raised for the Uganda Marathon Appeal, which supports numerous different projects in Uganda, including Mengo Hospital in the capital, Kampala.
