KING’S Ely Senior students George Nearney, Bertie Whymark and Daniel Kember were among young Rugby players from across the region who attended Northampton Saints Rugby’s Franklin Gardens on May 12th.
Daniel, Bertie and George were selected to join the Official Northampton Saints Rugby Player Development Programme (DPP) last summer following a series of trials.
The event on May 12th was a festival for all of the U14 DPP teams to play each other at Franklin Gardens as a way of celebrating their progress since joining the programme.
