Three King’s Ely students have been selected as finalists at the National Fashion Textiles 2015 Competition at Olympia.

The quality and quantity of entries to this year’s competition had been exceptionally high so all three girls were particularly delighted that their entries had been selected as one of the twenty finalists. All finalists’ garments will be displayed within the National Fashion Textile Competition’s gallery at the show, which is open to the public from 5th – 8th March 2015.

Director of Art at King’s Ely, Alison Rhodes, expressed how proud she was of the girls saying “This is a wonderful opportunity to show the high quality coursework the students have produced and to make invaluable links with industry. Alongside this exhibition, King’s Ely will be displaying examples of A Level Fashion and Textiles at stand G40”.

The winner will be announced at 1pm on Thursday 5th March at The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show in London. The students and their families will be present at The National Fashion Textiles Gallery where the announcement and presentation will be held.
