KING’S Ely staff members, Helen Melville, Colin Currie and James Foster, competed in the Ely Tri Club 115 Squadron Duathlon on May 9th.
All three did exceptionally well – Mrs Melville placed as the 13th lady, finishing the course in 1 hour 47 minutes, Mr Currie was 20th overall in 1 hour 26 minutes and Mr Foster was 25th overall in 1 hour 28 minutes.
A duathlon is an athletic event that consists of a running leg, followed by a cycling leg and then another running leg in a format similar to triathlons.
