There are many formal and informal social events for Sixth Formers throughout the year. Each term, you will be invited to three evening events, ranging from candlelit dinners to themed fancy dress meals with discos. Smaller, more low-key events can include film nights, quiz nights and screenings of national events, all of which are led by the students.

There are some more formal events during the course of the year, such as the black-tie charity Christmas dinner and the celebration of Chinese New Year. The social calendar culminates at the end of the Summer Term in the Leavers’ Ball, to which you will be able to invite your parents when you are in Year 13. This long-standing tradition provides a fitting full stop to your career at King’s Ely as you take your memories, friendships and experience into the future.
