Vital to the breadth of your education, enrichment helps to place your studies in a wider intellectual landscape. Enrichment opportunities in the Sixth Form include talks by visiting speakers, either to the whole Sixth Form or to smaller subject-specific academic societies, student-led discussion evenings, and visits and trips organised by academic departments. These include visits to Cambridge University for open lectures and to its world-class facilities, such as the Cavendish Laboratory. Cultural and academic societies such as the popular History Café flourish, and Sixth Formers are encouraged to take a leading role in these. The presence of students from outside the UK in the Sixth Form provides an opportunity for cultural enrichment and the making of friendships across national boundaries.
