The Sixth Form experience at King’s Ely is so much more than studying for your A Levels. There is a whole new range of learning opportunities. Yes, we will prime you for academic success, but we will also empower you. Our small class sizes mean that your teachers knows you as an individual and will provide the support, guidance and challenge that you need in order to help you learn effectively.

With Sixth Form status comes both privilege and responsibility. Wherever possible, you make your own decisions. School uniform is exchanged for your chosen smart business wardrobe and you choose how and where you spend your free time. You have a state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre in the Old Palace, the city of Ely on your doorstep, Cambridge’s ancient university is just 15 minutes away and you have the opportunity to explore your interests and talents.

Equally, you are encouraged to make your own unique contribution to our community, whether it is leading sports teams, running a club or mentoring younger students. As the new, independent you emerges, you will engage in a wider world, prepare for the next step with confidence, and make the most of every moment.

A programme of Higher Education guidance helps you to make informed choices about the next stage of your education. In 2015, this helped 98% of our students to gain their first choice place at university.
