Our 2026 Senior Instrumental Music Festival has got off to an impressive start!

Between now and mid-February, musicians in Years 9-13 are battling it out in a series of heats, all vying for a place in the Semi-Finals and Finals.

As ever, the skill, composure, and musicianship demonstrated by students has been phenomenal, and with lots more rounds still to go, this year's Finalists' Concert promises to be an evening to remember.

Two dates for your diary:

• Semi-Finals | Monday 9th February | King's Ely Recital Hall | 4.45pm 
• Finalists' Concert | Thursday 12th February | Ely Cathedral | 7pm 

Entry to both events is free, although tickets for the Finalists' Concert do need to be booked in advance due to capacity limits. Tickets will be available through our Box Office soon: https://www.kingsely.org/boxoffice
