Twelve King’s Ely Prep pupils competed in the East Anglian Prep Schools’ Cross Country Championships on Saturday, March 16th.
The annual event, which is now in its 44th year, was held at the glorious Suffolk-based prep school, Old Buckenham Hall, and fourteen other schools from across the region competed.
Well done to all our runners who truly gave it their all on the day: Poppy, Isabelle, William, Marcus, Zoe, Annabelle, Sebastien, Eden, Georgie, Hayden, Gemma and Charlie. Congratulations to Poppy and Hayden who came 1st and 2nd, respectively, in their races, securing them medals and spots on the podium.
Thank you to Old Buckenham Hall for hosting such a fantastic event, thank you to Ms Michelle Bird, our Head of Cross Country and Athletics, for accompanying the pupils, and thank you also to all parents and family members who were able to support the children on the day!
