KING’S Ely Rowers competed in the Isle of Ely Rowing Club Small Boats Head on Remembrance Sunday.
Alex Millard and Will White recorded the fastest time in the 3,000 metre division to win their category. Holly Lancaster also won the Women U18 Singles category.
Year 9 boys also competed and, for some, it was their first taste of Rowing racing. Notable mentions from the first division go to Connall Conley and Will Buckingham who came 7th overall out of 54 crews.
The next division saw the weather worsen however both King’s Ely’s Year 13 and Year 10 quads performed amicably over 5,000 metres to record strong results.
