A TALENTED member of King’s Ely’s Equestrian Team will be representing Cambridgeshire at this year’s National Schools’ Equestrian Association (NSEA) County Championships.

Rebecca Everitt, 14, won the novice dressage class at the NSEA County Dressage Qualifier event held at the College of West Anglia in Milton on January 21st. As a result, Rebecca and her pony, Jacko, will now represent Cambridgeshire at the County Championships at Addington Manor in Buckingham in April.

King’s Ely pupils Thea Holdaway and Phoebe Plumb also participated in the novice dressage class, and Phoebe secured third place. The King’s Ely Equestrian Team as a whole, which included Rebecca, Thea, Phoebe and Ellie Grimsey came second in their class, just narrowly missing out on a team place in the County Championships.
