WE are delighted to say that King’s Ely Sixth Form students Orla Simpson, Charlie Watson, Fiona Fung, Ben Clubb and Stella Wang were all further shortlisted in this year’s Beyond the Frame Photography Competition, organised by Norwich University of the Arts!
Last month, the talented five discovered that their images had each been shortlisted from the 500+ entries in the competition. However, Head of Photography at King’s Ely, Antonio Longo, has since received confirmation that each of their images were then further shortlisted by judges into the top 39 entries.
Even though King’s Ely did not win the competition, we did have the largest cohort of shortlisted students – news which comes just a week after King’s Ely Sixth Form student Luna Guo was announced as the winner of this year’s UK ILFORD PHOTO Student Competition, ‘Reading between the Lines’.
