STAFF at King’s Ely’s Medical Centre donned their aprons and staged their own version of the Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off.

The event on March 28th saw a whole host of scrumptious cakes, cupcakes and other sweet treats – all made by the medical centre staff – being sold to students and staff to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

An impressive £232 was raised on the day, all of which will go directly to Stand Up To Cancer, which is an annual campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 that brings the UK together to accelerate progress in life-saving cancer research.
