YEAR 7 King’s Ely Junior pupil Abigail used her pedal power to come 1st in the Alan Rosner Memorial Race, held at her home club, Redbridge Cycling Centre, on Good Friday.

Abigail is an avid cyclist and regularly competes in road, track and mountain bike races, as well as Cyclo-cross. On April 14th, she competed in her first ever Track Omnium at Herne Hill Velodrome and was the 2nd placed girl on the day – despite only practicing a few days previously.

On April 7th she raced her first mountain bike race – Mud Sweat and Gears – where she came 4th. The week previously, she raced at her home club and came 1st again in another closed circuit road race. On March 16th, Abigail raced in the March Hare Classic at Stratford Velopark and came 1st.

Well done Abigail – we are all super proud of your achievements!
