AS part of their ‘Tales and Trails’ topic for the summer term, Year 3 King’s Ely Junior pupils visited the River Great Ouse in Ely to complete their own river survey.

The students will be comparing their findings with river usage from 100 years ago to see if it has changed at all. Whilst there, they also thought about potential risks as part of their PSHE topic this term.

What happens in the classroom is only ever part of the story at a school as busy as King’s Ely Junior. We have a creative and dynamic approach to education and look to extend and enrich our students’ learning wherever possible.
