BUDDING detectives at King’s Ely Junior were in their element putting their skills into practice in a Forensics Challenge.

The workshop saw Year 8 students using their Science knowledge and some new techniques to solve a police investigation. Was it a murder, an accident or suicide? Competing against each other, time and the growing heat in the Morbey Hall, they investigated the evidence and came to a conclusion. But was it right?

Well, only the best succeeded in solving what was a murder and gained the points to be crowned winners. However, the cohort were proud to find out that they had set a new national record by the event holders, so King’s Ely is officially the national winner so far.

Well done detectives!
