OUR Year 3 King’s Ely Junior pupils were in their element when The Animal Experience – based in nearby Stretham – paid them a visit on January 28th.

The children were able to handle and learn lots of interesting facts about a whole host of different creatures, including meerkats, snakes, lizards, tarantulas and more.

Year 3 Teacher, Kate Furness, said: “Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Tarantula, Pac man Frog, Milk snake, Praying Mantis and Black and White Argentinian Tegu. These were just some of the South American creatures we found out more about during our hands on experience!

“We learnt about their individual characteristics, their natural environments and unique adaptations that allow them to survive.”

Thank you so much for coming Kayleigh and friends!
