OUR Year 3-6 King’s Ely Junior pupils were on fine form when competing in their M-Athletics Fair this week!
The event was a little bit like a sports day, but rather than trying to be the fastest or the strongest, students tried to be the most accurate.
Activities included: ‘Who can run 20 metres in exactly 20 seconds?’, ‘Who can drop the egg in the egg and spoon race the average number of times?’, and ‘Who can draw a line the length of the world record high jump?’
There were also lots of fun estimation activities with length, weight and capacity.
Year group winners will be announced before the end of term!
