CONGRATULATIONS to King’s Ely Senior students Paul Collington, David Harris and Thomas Jackson for winning the semi-final of the English Schools Plate Competition at Ely City Golf Club on February 4th.
The boys – representing the King’s Ely Golf Academy – won the competition 96 to 90 and have now qualified to play in the Finals in June. Well done boys!
Congratulations also to King’s Ely Junior pupil, Lewis Pugh, who is currently on top form in the Winter Eclectic Golf Competition, being held at Cambridge Lakes Golf Course.
So far, Lewis has taken the first place trophy three times, winning best score of the day against more than 40 junior golfers from across Cambridgeshire!
