THE King’s Ely Equestrian Team came 7th out of 27 teams at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on May 12th.

George Hearn, Ryan De Sousa, Adele Shaw and Emily Gredley represented the school as a team of four at the show, which is one of the largest in the UK.

Manager of the King’s Ely Equestrian Team, Sue Cameron, said: “This was a huge event to compete at and our riders dealt with the pressure very well. They were great representatives of the school and certainly did us proud!”

The team qualified for Royal Windsor back in March after they came second in the 90cms class out of more than 40 riders, and clear rounds by both Emily and Adele meant that the team finished on just four faults.
