TWO members of teaching staff at King’s Ely Senior completed a 200-mile cycle ride for charity.

Director of Boarding and Head of Government and Politics, Mr Thomas, and Head of History, Mr Currie, took on the gruelling challenge with the Octagon Cycling Club earlier this month (July) in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) charity.

Despite the scorching temperatures, the group completed the mammoth ride and have smashed their £10,000 target.

Since its launch in 2000, the EAAA charity has attended over 20,000 lifesaving missions, touching the lives of many thousands of people.
