FIVE members of the King’s Ely Climbing Club headed to The Foundry Climbing Centre on March 9th and Awesome Walls Sheffield on March 10th.

The students were a mixture of Level 2 and Level 3 climbers, each working individually towards completing their progressive learning in rock climbing.

Director of Outdoor Education at King’s Ely, Sophie Cheng, said: “For the Level 2 climbers, it was practicing climbing movement and stances in order to become a competent seconder, as well as perfecting their lead belaying skills. For the Level 3 climbers, fall practice and lead climbing were the main goals for the weekend.”

Well done all!
