THIRTY King’s Ely students will be representing the school in the annual Cambridgeshire County Schools Cross Country Championships.

King’s Ely hosted the annual Isle of Ely District Cross Country Championships on New Field on Thursday (December 1st). Six races were held during the afternoon, with pupils from King’s Ely, Ely College, Witchford Village College, Neale Wade Academy and Cromwell Community College battling it out.

King’ Ely athletes performed superbly on the day, winning all eight categories and as a result the Isle of Ely Cross Country Shield for the school. Special mention must go to Alexandra Marshall, James Shoenberg, Rebecca Daniel, George Clift and Claudia Law for winning their races.

A total of thirty King’s Ely students qualified for the Cambridgeshire County Schools Cross Country Championships, which are due to take place at King’s Ely on January 21st.
