YEAR 1 King’s Ely Acremont pupils were in their element when they visited the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.

The children looked at, handled and learned about some beautiful replica relics during the trip on May 2nd, and then explored the Ancient Greek and Egyptian galleries.

Year 1 Teacher Jo Lyall said: “It was a really wonderful experience which brought our learning to life, and we would definitely recommend a return visit to the museum.”

Learning at King’s Ely Acremont is brought to life throughout the term with the help of hands-on experiences, visits from experts and exciting trips. Our pupils develop learning habits which stick with them throughout their King’s Ely journey, taking great pride in their achievements along the way.
