YEAR 2 King’s Ely Acremont pupils visited London’s St Paul’s Cathedral on November 12th as part of their topic learning all about the Great Fire of London.

The children were in their element touring the cathedral and discovering more about its remarkable history. With special permission, the children also laid out on the marble floor of the quire and marvelled at the glittering mosaic domes before enjoying a workshop making their own mosaics out of glass tiles.

It was a day filled with fun and adventure, and the children all behaved impeccably!
