Marcus Burnett, Director of Burnett Global Education, kick-started our 2023 ‘Higher Education and Graduate Careers Visiting Speakers’ programme.
Marcus, who is pictured here with Gill Smith, our wonderful Director of Higher Education and Graduate Careers, spoke to Year 12 students about further education and career opportunities at International Universities, especially in the fields of Business and Management.
Eliza Spooner, one of our Year 12 students, said: “We were grateful for Marcus’ support and guidance on life beyond University and Sixth Form. His presentation was very eye-opening for many of us, especially about the chance to study abroad at Universities in Australia, Switzerland, New Zealand, USA, Canada, China, Austria, Spain, France and the UAE – or even attending Summer Schools, such as the Italian Fashion University ‘Istituto Marangoni’, to strengthen our University applications.
“Marcus explained how pursuing a career or higher education in areas such as Hospitality Management offers a breadth of opportunities in fields such as International Relations, Business and Finance, Technology, Media Communications, and Luxury Brand Management.”
