OUR Head Girl, Lottie Wilkinson, is sporting a stick-on moustache throughout November to raise funds and awareness for the Rainforest Alliance!

Lottie, 17, is no stranger to supporting good causes as it was around this time last year that she had a substantial amount of her long hair cut off in aid of the Little Princess Trust.

Lottie said: “I am wearing a stick-on moustache throughout November to raise funds and awareness for the Rainforest Alliance. This isn’t one of the usual Movember charities but it is one that is close to my heart and one that is especially important given the Amazon rainforest fires.

“The idea to get involved in Movember was actually Mr Newman’s! He made a joke that he would pay good money to see me in a moustache, and so we planned for me to do Movember back in September!

“I love doing charity work and raising money for different causes, and this is something completely different from what I have personally done before. I have had some very odd looks, which has been funny, and wearing a stick-on moustache is a lot more annoying than I originally thought, but it’s for a good cause at the end of the day.

“The Rainforest Alliance is an amazing non-profit organisation with one main aim – for people and nature to live in harmony. Some of the issues they tackle with people’s kind donations are deforestation, irresponsible farming, extinction and climate change.

“It would be incredible if we could raise even a small amount for this life-changing charity – and hopefully seeing me with a moustache will motivate you to donate some pennies!”
