IT looks like King’s Ely Junior pupil Lewis Pugh could be following in the footsteps of British-South African endurance swimmer and ocean advocate, Lewis Pugh.
Lewis, who is in Year 5, swims for Bottisham Swimming Club, and in the recent Club Championships he won 6 medals.
He won 4 Gold medals in 200m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 50m and 100m freestyle, and 2 Bronze medals in the 50m and 200m breaststroke in the boys’ 9 and under category.
Lewis also set a new club record in the 100m breaststroke category.
