THE pennies have been counted and we can confirm that our Red Nose Day celebrations at King’s Ely Junior have raised a whopping £1,400!

We had a whale of a time celebrating Red Nose Day as a school community on March 18th. Pupils and staff from King’s Ely Acremont Nursery and Pre-Prep through to King’s Ely Sixth Form made the most of their ‘non-uniform day’ by donning the reddest attire and wackiest accessories they could to support the annual fundraising campaign.

As is the case with the £492 raised at King’s Ely Acremont, the £1,400 raised at King’s Ely Junior, who also held a bumper bake sale on the day, is being divided equally between Comic Relief and the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Thank you to our pupils and families for donating, baking and purchasing so generously!
