We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our ‘Festival of Music and Dance’ on July 1st!

Our Music and Drama Departments have been blown away by your feedback following the event, which involved musicians and dancers from Year 4 through to Year 13 – some of them performing under a huge concert saddlespan for the first ever time, and some of them taking to the stage for what could be their last time at King’s.

The festival was free to attend, and all members of our school community were welcomed. Parents/carers, grandparents, aunties and uncles, Old Eleans, teachers and support staff, friends of King’s – people of all ages grabbed their picnic baskets, blankets and deckchairs, and came together on The Paddock at King’s Ely Junior to support students as they performed their hearts out.

The weather was even kind to us, and Ely Cathedral provided the perfect backdrop – it was an event that truly showcased so many things that make us #uniquelykings!
