SOME photos from King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep’s End of Year Service and Garden Party!
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, staff, families/carers and friends of King’s came together for the service, which was held under the magnificence of Ely Cathedral’s Octagon on July 7th to celebrate the end of the academic year.
Principal of King’s Ely, John Attwater, and the Dean of Ely, the Very Reverend Mark Bonney, were present at the service, which featured uplifting singing, readings and prayers.
The annual service is always a poignant way to say farewell to Acremont’s Year 2 leavers, who all took great delight in sharing their favourite school memories of the year.
Year 2s were presented with a special gift by Mr Attwater, although thankfully we will be seeing the vast majority of them over at King’s Ely Junior when they start Year 3 in September!
