The immensity and grandeur of Ely Cathedral did not faze our Acremont Pre-Prep pupils one bit at their End of Term Service. In fact, the children seemed to use it to their advantage, speaking eloquently and singing beautifully, while their families and teachers beamed with pride.
In true King’s fashion, the service was reverent, but interspersed with some wonderful ‘laugh out loud’ moments, including two of the children asking our Chaplain, Revd Dr Lane, to ring the cathedral bell before the event, and lots of waving to parents at perhaps not the most appropriate moments!
At Acremont Pre-Prep, children are nurtured to be confident, but not arrogant, and to be comfortable in their own skin. Our youngest Eleans develop a genuine love of learning and zest for life because they are happy, curious, and surrounded by support.
