KING’S Ely Acremont Pre-Prep and Nursery’s Christmas Service at Ely Cathedral on December 9th was so magical – we couldn’t be more proud of the children if we tried!

It was wonderful to welcome family members and guests along to the service in a socially distanced and safe manner. For those who were unable to attend, we will be sharing a recording of the service with you soon.

Faye Fenton-Stone, Head of King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep, said: “With great delight, we joined together in the Cathedral for the highlight of our festive calendar, our Christmas Service. Nursery were in fine voice as they courageously took to the stage to open the service before joining our congregation to watch their Acremont siblings and friends. The children looked resplendent in their costumes!

“I know it meant so much to us all as a community to actually perform and attend in person. The children really rose to the challenge of performing in such a big space in front of so many loved ones, who were spurring them on and willing them to do well and enjoy the occasion. As staff, we are incredibly proud of the confidence the children demonstrated and the trust they placed in their friends and adults. I would like to congratulate Mr Dean on his excellent script writing skills and whilst remaining accurate to the true story of Christmas, adding just the right amount of sparkle to leave us smiling!”
