In her weekly newsletter to parents, Faye Fenton-Stone, Head of King’s Ely Acremont, wrote: “I cannot thank you all enough for the amazing way that you have adjusted to this [remote learning].
“From responses from parents and children, the first week has gone very well indeed. We really do understand that it isn’t always possible in the middle of a work conference call to dance around to a workout clip with your youngest or bake cakes whilst managing Maths equations with your eldest and so I hope that you find our communication with you both balanced and realistic.
“Thank you to our wonderful children who, even at home, brighten our day and the newsletter with their fun and creativity and I thank you, multi-tasking parents and carers, who I know are amazing on a daily basis. Stay safe and enjoy a restful Easter holiday.”
