SAUNDERS House were the winners of this year’s Humphries Challenge!

The annual event is held towards the end of the Summer Term and it sees our Year 8 King’s Ely Junior pupils competing, in their Houses, in a variety of challenges designed to test their strength, courage, strategy, team and communication skills.

The challenge is organised in memory of Christopher Humphries, who had a love of outdoor learning and who was heavily involved with our outdoor education programme, Ely Scheme.

Congratulations of course to Saunders, but well done to every single pupil who competed on what was a very warm and muggy day!

Thank you also to our wonderful Ely Scheme Staff and Pupil Instructors for their support and expertise throughout.

Something tells us there may be a lot of Year 8s excited for Ely Scheme when they join Year 9 in September!
