Our King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep pupils were beside themselves with excitement when their parents, family members and carers came to visit them in school!

‘Book Share Afternoon’ took place on February 9th and the atmosphere was electric as children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 showed their loved ones what they have been learning about so far this year, revealed their super artwork and creative writing, and pointed out the stickers and praise that they have received from their teachers.

Faye Fenton-Stone, Head of King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep, said: “Acremont was heaving with so many proud families, excited children, and supportive staff. The hallway and landings were bustling thoroughfares as the children guided their special visitors to classrooms and families admired the colourful displays on each of the floors. We all love to receive praise for a job well done; it validates real effort, motivates, and encourages. Book Share Afternoon is a wonderful and well-deserved moment to watch the children positively glowing with pride and pleasure.”
