Our King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep pupils were SO excited to welcome their parents and carers into their classrooms yesterday (February 15th)!

‘Book Share Afternoon’ is always a fabulous opportunity for our Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 children to show their guardians what they have been learning, creating, writing, building and absorbing since the start of the academic year.

Mrs Faye Fenton-Stone, who is Head of King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep, said: “Our informal ‘show and tell’ was a wonderful sharing experience, and it was a real joy to all of the staff to see and listen to the excited engagement and conversations the children had with their visitors. The progress in presentation, stamina, and ability were clear to see.

“I was particularly pleased to observe how animated the children were to share their knowledge and understanding, as it shows their pride in the effort they have made and how embedded their learning is becoming. Thank you to all our visitors for taking the time to be part of the afternoon, and to those who were unable to make it, please do make an arrangement with your child’s class teacher to pop in and share, whenever you are able.”
