Today (Saturday, October 7th) is Boarding Schools’ Association International Boarding Day!

This annual celebration seems like the perfect opportunity to show you what our full-time and ‘flexi’ boarders at King’s Ely Prep have been up to since the new term started five weeks ago. These photos capture just some of the fun, friendships, trips, memories and special moments that our boarders in Priory House and Walsingham House have enjoyed so far.

Walsingham House and Priory House are spectacular, Harry Potteresque buildings which provide our Prep-age boarders with a peaceful haven at the end of their busy school day.

Walsingham is run by Mrs Perceval-Maxwell and Priory is run by Mrs Gorick. They both live in the buildings with their own families and pets, offering a close-knit and caring environment for our youngest boarders.

Our boarding provision is intentionally flexible to suit the requirements of a broad range of families. Some of our boarders live locally to Ely, some travel quite a distance from other regions to board at King’s and, additionally, our Prep International programme sees children travelling from across the globe to enjoy all that King’s Ely Prep has to offer.
