Freddie achieved the A-Level grades that he needed to study Geography at King's College London.
Freddie joined King's Ely Senior in Year 9 from a high school in Norfolk.
Freddie studied Geography, History, and Economics for his A-Levels.
We caught up with Freddie after he received his A-Level results to find out more about his King's experience and what his next steps are...
Freddie, what career path do you plan on pursuing?
I am not too sure yet but I have been considering both consultancy and law, perhaps relating to enviromental conservation, as it is a growing field that is in demand by employers.
What is the quality and style of teaching like at King’s?
Very good! Small class sizes allow you to build a personal relationship with your teachers, and help is always provided when asked for. You can tell that the teachers really care about you as an individual.
What else did you participate in during your time at King’s?
I enjoyed lots of team sports in my younger years at King’s, Rowing, Tennis in the Sixth Form, History Café, and of course Osmond House activities and events.
Do you feel that you have been well supported pastorally at King’s?
Yes, although I cannot think of any specific examples.
What will you miss most about King’s and what did you enjoy most during your time here?
I will miss the social side of King’s and all the friends I made. King’s is a great place to be, especially the Sixth Form. The socials, such as the Summer Ball, were brilliant!
In what ways do you think King’s is unique or special compared to other schools?
The school's location and history are both obviously unique, but also the cohesive atmosphere between students and teachers, which makes it such an enjoyable place to be. Compared to other schools that I have been to, King's also has a much greater range of opportunities available to students.
Describe King’s in three words!
Historic, aspirational, community.
