I am Sous Chef at King’s and I have worked here for 25 years!

What do you enjoy most about working at King’s?

The daily challenge of producing great quality food for more than 1,000 children and staff.

Describe King’s in three words:

Friendly, energetic, challenging.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I always wanted to be a fireman.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Long walks with my dog.

Any pets?

A Black Labrador called Neo.

What is your favourite meal/food?

I especially enjoy Malaysian food.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To be able to fly.

Who is your hero?

My grandparents.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

The birth of my two children and running the London Marathon in 2012.

What was the last book you read?

‘How To Stop Time’ by Matt Haig.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

‘Parklife’ by Blur.

What is your favourite film?

‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ – it’s a family tradition.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Many, especially running out of the children’s most popular lunch dish!
