Where did you grow up?

I grew up just west of Cambridge in Swavesey and then Cambourne.

Education:

Long Road Sixth Form in Cambridge and then a Primary Education degree at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln.

Your previous role and place of work:

Class Teacher in Wisbech.

What are you most looking forward to about working at King’s Ely?

Meeting everyone and getting to know people.

Hobbies/interests outside of school:

Motorbikes and cars, reading, animals, playing games with my friends.

Any pets?

Two hamsters, a cat, and two pigs (they stay outside though!)

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I desperately wanted to work in the Ministry of Magic…

What is your favourite meal/food?

I love a good burger on a BBQ, with plenty of chips on the side.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To fly, imagine being able to just fly to school every day, or to the top of the cathedral, or abroad!

Who is your hero?

My mum, she is an amazing lady who works with unwell babies in hospital.

What was the last book you read?

‘Case Histories’ by Kate Atkinson. It is set in Cambridge, and I love a murder mystery.

What song are you most likely to sing at a karaoke?

Anything ABBA!

What is your favourite film?

‘Scott Pilgrim vs The World’.

Do you have any phobias or fears?

Spiders!

Name three things you would want with you if stranded on a desert island for a week:

A pile of books, some matches and some factor 50 sunblock!
