KING’S Ely Senior student, Findlay Hall, braved the shave for charity on July 3rd!

Patrick Green, Housemaster of School House, came up with the idea of a charity hair cut on the last day of term to raise funds for one of the school’s charities, Hope4Malawi.

The school community was able to vote for who they wanted to see have their hair shaved – and they even got to choose which style! Their options were: Mr Green himself, students Fin, Gabriel James and Daniel Kember, or Ben Pennington, Deputy Head of King’s Ely Senior.

Fin received the most votes and his most voted for style was a mohican, which his parents kindly shaved in their kitchen! The event has raised more than £200 for Hope4Malawi, a charity which provides food, water, education and sanitation to people in Blantyre and the Shiree Region of Southern Malawi.

Well done for being such a good sport Fin and thank you to everyone who voted and donated!
